Storage in unheated garage and shed

Hello,

I was wondering do bikes (also bike related stuff like bike magazines, tyres etc) stored in an unheated garage or shed get damaged from freezing temperatures, or from damp air during wet weather? Does stuff get covered in condensation in the garage after overnight sub-zero temperatures, like a car would if left outdoors?

Any help will be apprecited.
